About Us
Our Story: Rooted in Agriculture, Inspired by Bees
A Family Farm.
A Growing Passion.
A Respect for the Land.
Home Creek Honey began with a curiosity about bees and grew into something much bigger: a family-owned beekeeping operation built on agricultural roots, faith, and a desire to care for the land around us.
We’re David and Megan George. Along with our three children, we’re building our lives around the things we value most: family, agriculture, and responsible stewardship of God’s creation.
Based on our family ranch near Coleman, Texas, Home Creek Honey is our way of sharing the remarkable work of honey bees with our community, one hive and one jar at a time.
It Started with Two Hives
David and Megan both grew up in agricultural families, so caring for the land has always been part of their lives. David spent more than 26 years working as a crop duster, gaining a firsthand perspective on the changing world of agriculture.
More Than Honey. A Way of Life.
For us, beekeeping is about more than producing honey. It’s about paying attention, learning from nature, and taking responsibility for the resources we’ve been entrusted with.
David’s years in agriculture strengthened his belief that caring for the land matters. That belief continues to guide how we approach our bees, our work, and the business we’re building.
Our faith shapes that perspective, reminding us to be thoughtful stewards of God’s creation. We believe the work of honey bees is something worth protecting, respecting, and sharing with others.
In 2020, a discovery in the backyard sparked a new direction. Bees had made their home in a tree, renewing David’s fascination with these remarkable pollinators.
With help from a beekeeper friend, David began with just two colonies. What started as a new interest quickly became a passion. He learned from other beekeepers, expanded the operation, and discovered just how much there was to learn about the world inside a hive.
As the years passed, that small beginning grew into a much larger beekeeping operation. Today, Home Creek Honey continues to build on those early lessons while staying grounded in the agricultural values that shaped our family.
