Our Story
Home Creek Honey
David and Megan were both born and raised in agricultural families. David’s entire professional career has been in support of the great farmers and ranchers who work tirelessly to provide the food and fiber we all need. Our journey with honeybees began in 2021 when a beekeeper friend convinced us to add a few hives to our family farm. Starting with just two hives, the lives of bees and beekeeping took root, and we never looked back. Later that same year, while working for a custer on a ranch in South Texas, David became friends with a commercial beekeeper who encouraged him to take his new love even further. So our journey began!

How do your bee rescues work?
